Questions
Clear answers
About your loan, the verification, the repayment and the basics of your finances.
Your loan
What is the interest rate?
The maximum annual interest rate is 19.99%. If unpaid, the applicable interest rate is 1.67% per month. A representative example of the total cost is further down, under Rates and terms.
Is there a credit check?
No. We use instant bank verification instead of a credit check: your request is reviewed from your banking information, not from your credit history.
How does instant bank verification work?
It confirms your banking information online, securely. You have nothing to send: no pay stubs, no statements, no scans.
How much can I borrow?
From $500 to $1,500. Choose your amount further up, under Plan your request: your payment is then set with you, based on your ability to repay.
How long do I have to repay?
From 63 days to 6 months, with payments every week, every two weeks or every month. You can repay early, in full or in part, at any time.
When will I get the money?
Once your loan is approved, the money can reach your account the same day.
Do I need to come in?
No. Everything happens online, from your phone or your computer: the short form takes under 5 minutes, then the verification and the contract signature follow online too, with no appointment.
Is my information protected?
Yes. Your information is handled securely and kept confidential.
The basics
Where do I start with a budget?
Write down your income for the month, then your fixed expenses (housing, transportation, bills) and your variable expenses (groceries, outings). One full month is enough for an accurate picture. Then compare: what is left shows your room to move.
What is a credit score?
It is a number that sums up how you use credit. In Canada, it generally ranges from 300 to 900 and is calculated by the credit bureaus, Equifax and TransUnion, from your credit report: payments, balances, the age of your accounts and recent credit applications.
Which debt should I pay first?
List your debts with their balance, interest rate and minimum payment. Pay at least the minimum on each, then put any extra toward the debt with the highest rate: it is often the one that costs you the most.
How much should I set aside for the unexpected?
A common goal is three to six months of essential expenses. If that feels far away, start small: a fixed amount each payday ends up making a real difference.

Annual interest rate
The maximum annual interest rate is 19.99%. If unpaid, the applicable interest rate is 1.67% per month.
Representative example of the total cost of the loan
For a $500 loan at an annual interest rate of 19.99%, repaid over 90 days, the total amount to repay is $524.65, or $174.88 a month for 3 months.
A $500 loan may include optional services, at your discretion. These services are entirely voluntary and are not required to obtain the loan: choosing not to enroll does not affect the credit decision or the terms of the loan. If you choose to enroll, fees for optional services may apply, payable every two weeks over 6 payments. For example, payments would then be $145.59 every two weeks, for a total of $873.54. These amounts include the optional service fees, which are separate from the loan principal and interest. The optional services are provided by a separate entity, which sets its own fees independently. These fees are not part of, and are separate from, the interest charged on the loan.
Repayment period
We set your minimum payment together, after verifying your ability to repay and the length of time over which you want to make your payments.
Payments are flexible: you repay over a minimum of 63 days and a maximum of 6 months, and you can make a full or partial payment at any time.
Borrow with care
We encourage you to borrow responsibly. This kind of loan can help when you need it, but its interest rate is higher than that of local banks. Use it only when no other option is available, and as seldom as possible. Used responsibly, it can be a good option for you. Taking on too many short-term loans at the same time could lead to serious financial problems and too much debt.
Credit score and financial support
Our business model complies with Canadian legal standards. If a particular situation arises while you use our loan services, we are here to help with payment issues, changes to your loan or any other need you may have.
Transactions made with our services do not affect your credit score, as we do not contact credit institutions for verification purposes.
Responsible lending
Every request goes through our review process to make sure the borrower has enough income to repay. This review includes, but is not limited to:
- checking that your monthly employment income is enough to repay the loan and qualifies you for this type of loan;
- checking that your bank statement does not show a high level of NSF charges;
- checking that your account does not carry a high level of pre-authorized debits that could interfere with repaying your loan.
If you do not meet these criteria, your loan request will be declined.
